COMPANY PHILOSOPHY

Check us out in the News!  Getting that Natural Look the Natural Way.

The tenets of dermatology inform our every decision. Our central philosophy is based on three cornerstones:

1. The discipline of dermatology

We use the expertise from leaders in the field of Contact Dermatology to avoid using any known skin irritants in our products. From the photo-allergen Oxybenzone, an active ingredient found in many sunscreens, to an irritant like propylene glycol– we conscientiously make use of the many ingredients available to formulators that are dermatologically neutral.

2. The science behind dermatology

We make use of in depth knowledge of the physiology of the skin and keep pace with the most advanced forms of pioneering science. For example, we are beginning to understand that a part of our DNA at the end of our chromosomes, called telomeres, begin to shorten as we age and can become damaged with UV and oxidative stress. A unique active principal called Renovage TM has been shown to delay telomere shortening in skin cells when applied topically. You’ll find Renovage TM along with other hand selected active principals in our night cream PM ANTI-AGE.

3. The technology behind dermatology

The exigencies of dermatologists are very often put aside by the public due to aesthetic considerations when it comes to cosmetic products. The use of a proper sunscreen is an excellent example. Our products furnish the public with cosmetically acceptable products without ever compromising the dictates of medicine. Due to our small-scale production, we can keep abreast of the most cutting edge technology available to formulators– unlike larger scale producers where the cost of reformulating can be prohibitive.

We believe that every skin care regime for all ethnicities and skin types must start with a proper SUNSCREEN.  We have made public education about sunscreens one of our most central goals and want to begin a movement to challenge the status quo in commercially available sun care products.  Screen your sunscreen!  Read our Primer on Sunscreens for more information and ask...
